This is a fabulous and striking set from Schiaparelli. It consists of a stunning bracelet and matching earrings that show the extravagence and inventiveness of Schiaparelli's genius. Each piece consists of a repeated element - an ribbed oval goldtone disc shape loaded with luscious rich blue-green ab stones. The bracelet has five such discs, each containing three huge irridescent cab stones, surrounded by ab rhinestones which are both round and chaton cut, and finally  sea-green faceted accent stones.  Each earring consists of one disc and  contains two cabs, plus ab rhinestones.

Measurements

The bracelet measures 7 1/4" long (18cms), with original safety chain. The earrings each  measure 1 3/8" by 1" (3.5 by 2.5cms).

All pieces are signed in script. From 1950's.

This iconic set is in excellent condition, with some minor discolouration to tne reverse of the bracelet consistent with use and age.

An almost identical set appears on page 111 of Judith Miller's 'Costume Jewelry' (DK Publishing). The full parure appears in Ginger Moro's  'European Designer Jewellery' (P86). This is one for the true collector!
